The Singapore Canoe Federation will be organising the 5th National Women Kayaking Championship 2009 on 25th and 26th July, 9 am at MacRitchie Reservoir.

Asian University Canoeing Championships 2009
The National University of Singapore (NUS) and the Singapore Canoe Federation (SCF) are jointly organising this year’s inaugural Asian University Canoeing Championship (AUCC) from 16th to 20th July 2009 at the MacRitchie Reservoir Park in Singapore.
This championship has been endorsed by the Asian University Sports Federation. Besides providing a platform for competitive canoeing, this championship will promote interaction and understanding between athletes in Asia.
The championship also hopes to be an event where regional athletes could exchange experiences and learn about each other’s diverse cultures.
The closing date for submission of entries will be on 22nd May.

National Canoeing Championships and YOG Canoe-Kayak Trial Race 2009
The NCC 2009 held on 20th and 21st June has been successfully completed.

Notices for paddling and use of Kallang Water Sports Centre. No paddlers are allowed in the water at Kallang Basin after 7.00 pm
For the safety of paddlers and security of property at Kallang Water Sports Centre, the Federation will like to inform all users of the SSC Kallang Water Sports Centre to return all craft or equipment back to centre before 7.00pm. The centre staff will lock all gates latest by 7.30pm for all days.
The Federation will not hesitate to take serious action again those who do not abide by the rules and regulations set by the authorities and the Federation. We seek your cooperation in this matter.

All canoeist, you are prohibited to paddle upstream toward the barrage beyond the cautionary buoy. It is “Out of Bound” for all paddling sports, construction works in progress.
