Presenting The Singapore Canoe Marathon 2012!
The Singapore Canoe Marathon (SCM) Team Manager Meeting will be held on Tuesday, 3rd January, 7:30 pm at Singapore Sports Council HQ, Spex House (Level 1), 230 Stadium Boulevard, Singapore 397799.
It has not been long since we just the 2011 ICF Canoe Marathon World Championships, however SCF has decided to still run this marathon for our local paddling community. :)
Despite the holiday season, do note that the preliminary entry deadline is 17 December 2011 & the nominal entry deadline is 24 December 2011 to facilitate the organisation for this event.

The Singapore Canoe Federation will be conducting a Level 1 Coach Training Course (Recreational) on :
Date : 29/01/12(Sun), 04/02/12(Sat), 05/02/12(Sun), 11/02/12(Sat)
Venue : Kallang Water Sports Centre
Time : 9am to 5pm
Applicant(s) applying for the course, must have a 2 star personal skill qualification and able to demonstrate strong paddling skills.
Applicant(s) must be at least 18 yrs of age and have good health with no current medical condition.

Notices for paddling and use of Kallang Water Sports Centre. No paddlers are allowed in the water at Kallang Basin after 7.00 pm
For the safety of paddlers and security of property at Kallang Water Sports Centre, the Federation will like to inform all users of the SSC Kallang Water Sports Centre to return all craft or equipment back to centre before 7.00pm. The centre staff will lock all gates latest by 7.30pm for all days.
The Federation will not hesitate to take serious action again those who do not abide by the rules and regulations set by the authorities and the Federation. We seek your cooperation in this matter.
