Note: In the design of this service page, SCF took into consideration the confidentiality of every individual's IC number and will only display a found record in the event of a complete match of IC number searching.

Tips

IC Number method

• Not case sensitive.

Example :
entering "s1234567a", "S1234567A", "s1234567A" or "S1234567a" will produce the same result.

Name method

• Not case sensitive.
  Example :
  entering "Lee", "lee" or "LEE" or any combinations of capitials and small letters for the 3 alphabets produces the same result.

• It matches sub strings.

Example :
if you enter "lee" as the search text, the system will find all occurrences of "lee" and list them all.

This would include any string that contains "lee", for example, a record with a name of "Eileen" will also be listed. To make sure the search only matches "lee", what you can do is to place blanks either in front or behind the string "lee" like such " lee ".
